AFENET Liberia, in collaboration with the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), organized a five-day working session to revise a training module for the Liberia Rapid Response Team (RRT). The workshop held at the RLJ Kendeja Resort & Villas from April 4 to April 8, 2022.
The AFENET team was led by the Resident Advisor, Dr. Maame Amo-Addae, and the NPHIL team was led by the Coordinator, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Mr. Nathaniel Doville. The other participants included Mr. Advertus N Mianah, Coordinator, Division of Infectious Disease and Epidemiology, NPHIL, and Mrs. Faith K. Whesseh, Emergency Response Coordinator, AFENET Liberia. Prior to the workshop, the team had developed the template for the module, harmonized and updated the existing training module to reflect the current realities in the country. Using plenary sessions and group deliberation, the training modules were aligned with the strategic objectives of NPHIL for the RRT.
