The manuscript writing review workshop started on Monday May 13, 2019 and ended on Thursday 16, 2019. Participants were drawn from the initial manuscript writing workshop held in December 2018 .
A total of 13 writers (11 FETP alumni, 1 FETP frontline trainee and 1 non- FETP) participated in the manuscript writing workshop. 6 were County Surveillance officers,5 District Surveillance Officers, and 2 Research officers.
Topics included outbreak investigations, restropective studies, KAP studies ( qualitative and quantitative) and case investigations.
Overall, participants were taught how to check for plagiarism in their work, and to structure their manuscripts per journal requirements.
