The fourth workshop for the Liberia Field Epidemiology Training Program (LFETP) Intermediate Cohort six (IC6) took place on July 11-15, 2022. They were welcomed by the Liberia FETP Resident Advisor, Dr. Maame Amo-Addae. The residents were equipped with requisite skills in applied epidemiology such as disease surveillance, secondary data analysis, surveillance system evaluation, outbreak investigation and response, data management, epidemiological studies, and scientific communication.
About Us
The Liberia Field Epidemiology Training Program (LFETP) began in August 2015. The program is funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and implemented by the African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET). Emory University was instrumental and directly involved in standing up and implementing the program for the first year of LFETP’s existence.
