CDC and Emory host FETP Resident Advisors for training in Atlanta

17 new and recently hired FETP Basic Resident Advisors (RA) traveled to Atlanta to attend the FETP Basic RA Orientation on that started on December 1st and running until the 11th.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) detailed the goals and objectives of FETP Basic and went over the curriculum and materials. Current RA’s with experience in implementing the Basic FETP training in country were given an opportunity to share their experience with the other RA’s.

Dr. Herbert Kazoora of AFENET delivered a presentation chronicling the circumstances and strategies used by the Liberia FETP leading to its successful launch.
