Position title
Geo-information Systems and Information Technology Specialist
  1. Geo-information Analysis and Mapping
    • To serve as the resource person to produce maps to guide response activities supported by AFENET
    • To produce relevant maps related to AFENET’S work in Liberia
  2. Provide IT support for all AFENET operations in Liberia
  3. Ensure maintenance of all IT equipment belonging to AFENET Liberia
  4. Provide guidance in the procurement of IT services and equipment
  5. Maintain all AFENET Liberia online and communication platforms
  6. To serve as the main resource person for building capacity of FETP participants in Geo-information analysis and mapping
  7. Serve as support mentor to LFETP participants
  8. Support all research work and scientific presentations in which AFENET Liberia is involved
  9. All other responsibilities assigned by the Resident Advisor (RA)
  1. Advanced degree in Geographic Information Systems
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  3. At least basic knowledge in Epidemiology (Certificate)
